It is unique in the German automobile industry and was developed in cooperation with the advanced technical college of Brunswick / Wolfenbüttel especially for Volkswagen. It recognises and sorts currently 120 different packaging elements and passes on the materials via air pressure in suitable containers. Some employees take over the job of the Befüllung of the arrangement and the withdrawal of the sorted material, as well as the presorting and packing the materials. Afterwards these materials are supplied to its original purpose again and thus becomes from the one-way package the Mehrwegverpackung.
